	Ida Mae Miller, age 105, of Pinckneyville, formerly of Du Quoin, died on
December 3, 2004 at 2:20 a.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital Skilled
Care Unit.
	Ida Mae was born on December 22, 1898 in Pinckneyville, a daughter to Joseph
G. and Frances (Berg) Schneider.  She married Anthony J. Miller on November
29, 1928 in Pinckneyville and he preceded her in death.  Ida Mae was a
telephone operator in Pinckneyville for many years.  She was a member of the
Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin and a long-time treasurer for the
Catholic Daughters of America.  Ida Mae was known for her beautiful quilts
and enjoyed baking cookies for the neighborhood children.
	Survivors include one daughter: Regina M. Rieke of Salt Lake City, Utah, one
daughter-in-law: Joan Miller of Pinckneyville, six grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son: Gerald Miller, two
brothers and one sister.
	Funeral Services will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin
on Monday, December 6, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. with Monsignor Harry Jerome
officiating.  Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Du Quoin.
	Friends may call at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville on Sunday,
December 5, 2004 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 8:00 a.m.
until 9:15 a.m.  The rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.
	Memorials may be made to Pinckneyville Community Hospital Skilled Care
Education Fund.
